While I would not dream of pretending that I have blossomed into some sort of exotic distance-runner, I have at least reached a proud moment: the marathon (yikes). That's right. I am registered to run in the 2010 Chicago Marathon. Nevermind the fact that the idea of running 20+ miles still chills me to the bone, I am doing it, and I am doing it for charity (applaud now).
My chosen charity is the Organization for Autism Research, a really great group of people who raise money to fund research studies, as well as assist individuals dealing with autism (read more about them here), and I am ready to make them proud! Want to help me conquer my fears AND donate to a great cause? Check out my fundraising page to learn more, and stay tuned to hear all the scary details.
Thanks for reading,
Allison :)
